Adriano Galliani believes the Scudetto “won't be decided until the final round, but Milan also want the Coppa Italia.”
The Rossoneri are eight points clear of Inter and temporarily six ahead of Napoli, who have to play Udinese this evening.
“We have 71 points and are keeping up an extraordinary pace,” the Vice-President told Milan Channel.
“Compliments are due to Napoli for staying with us. Probably the Scudetto won't be decided until the final round, which is what happened last season and three years ago.
“We have this three-point advantage and the head-to-head record in our favour. There are regrets over some points dropped along the way, but that is true of everyone.”
Last night's 3-0 win over Sampdoria further boosted confidence ahead of Wednesday's Coppa Italia semi-final against Palermo.
“The Coppa Italia is important and we don't want to leave anything by the wayside. We must try to win both objectives that are still open to us, so the best players will take to the field against Palermo.”
