William Gallas “was going to sign for Juventus until personal problems scuppered the deal,” revealed his agent.
The ex-Arsenal defender had been heavily linked with the Turin giants last summer, but opted to make his controversial transfer to Tottenham instead.
“It's true, last year before joining Tottenham he was going to sign for Juventus,” agent Etienne Mendy told TuttoMercatoWeb.
“Then personal problems scuppered the deal. I think that right now his arrival in Italy would be a little complicated, as there's very little chance it could happen.
“He should stay with Tottenham, as he extended his contract with Spurs for two years and will probably end his career at White Hart Lane.”
