Robert Acquafresca has revealed his intention to remain at Cagliari for the rest of his career.
The 23-year-old, who has scored four goals in his last three games, is on loan from Genoa, although Cagliari have an option to sign Acquafresca outright at the end of the season.
It's Acquafresca's second stint at Sant'Elia and he appears wedded to Sardinia.
"There are two Presidents who have to talk about the deal together because for me there are no doubts," Acquafresca said.
"I made my decision last summer and it certainly hasn't changed. For this reason I hope it all resolves itself in the best of ways.
"For the moment I can only thank the club and my teammates who have put me in a position to do well.
"There were moments in which things weren't going in the right direction but I always said to myself: 'What the hell, sooner or later things will change and I must be ready when they do'.
"It would be great to get into double figures."
