Sebastien Frey is ready to play for Fiorentina again – for the remainder of this season and beyond.
The Frenchman returned to the squad for last week's 0-0 draw with Juventus, but he didn't feature, after recovering from knee surgery.
"I'm feeling good and I'm ready to play," he told La Nazione on Friday. "We'll see what the Coach decides."
Turning to the future, Frey seemed to rubbish speculation that he could leave following last summer's capture of Artur Boruc.
"I want to help the birth of a new Fiorentina cycle," continued the former Inter custodian. "I will never ask to leave this club.
"Boruc? I was surprised by his arrival and he's done well, but I just want to concentrate on starting at 100 per cent for next season."
