Dias asks for pay rise

Lazio defender Andre Dias wants to stay at Lazio and has asked for his contract to be improved.

The 31-year-old Brazilian has been one of Lazio's top performers this season and is a dressing room leader.

His existing deal expires in 2013, but Dias feels entitled to a pay rise especially if Lazio qualify for the Champions League.

He would like to earn at least €1m a season if not a little more.

Dias knows that his next contract will be one of his last and hopes to reap full benefit.
