Genoa President Enrico Preziosi insists Kevin-Prince Boateng's move to Milan isn't certain just yet.
Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani told reporters on Wednesday that an agreement is in place.
Galliani expects to pay €7m to buy out Genoa's remaining stake in the player.
"Boateng's move to Milan is linked simultaneously to the purchase of half of Marco Amelia for €2.5m," Preziosi said. "And then there are the other players.
"Paloschi, Strasser, Oduamadi, Zigoni and above all Beretta are also on co-ownership deals. If we include Boateng and Amelia, there are seven players in play, which is too many.
"We must clarify things. In the summer, Genoa only banked €5m for this entire deal, but now we must do our accounts and I know Galliani is cleverer than me so I want ambassadors."
