Transfer expert Ernesto Bronzetti has commented on rumours Roma and Real Madrid are planning to exchange Daniele De Rossi and Kaka.
The report swirled around over the last couple of days, following on from long-term links between the Spaniards and De Rossi.
“It's one of the dumbest things I've heard today,” insisted FIFA agent Bronzetti on Radio Centro Suono.
“De Rossi is of no interest to Real Madrid, because they are already fully covered in that role.
“Kaka still has four years left on his contract and earns €10m per season. I don't see how Roma can sign him.”
There will be a large influx of cash in the summer when American investor Thomas Di Benedetto takes over the club.
“I don't think it's in their nature to go around spending lots of money. The new Roma will be more measured in its strategy.”
