Alessandro Diamanti hopes his return to form can help Brescia ensure their top flight survival.
The 27-year-old playmaker is key to Brescia's chances, such is his ability to create opportunities.
"I am happy," Diamanti said. "I am ready to face Sampdoria, but it's clear: I am not a phenomenon and I have never pretended to be one.
"I will give the maximum to win in Genova as will my teammates like always.
"No team in our position has ever survived, it's an extra motivation to do it.
"I believe we can survive and the difficulty doesn't frighten me."
