Brace hero Giampaolo Pazzini credited Inter's never-say-die attitude for their dramatic victory in Cesena.
“We wanted this win so much. We didn't give up until the final whistle and we did it,” said the striker who came off the bench to score at the 91st and 95th minutes.
“We didn't want Milan to win the Scudetto because we'd handed it to them on a plate. Obviously we also wanted to do well for ourselves and then we'll see where we end up.”
Cesena were leading 1-0 until stoppages, but emerged with only a 2-1 home defeat thanks to Pazzini's double.
“We gave a strong response. As for myself, I hadn't scored for 40 days, so I'm happy to have ended that drought. Evidently this stadium brings me luck.”
Pazzini also scored a 92nd-minute winner at the Dino Manuzzi earlier this season when he was still playing for Sampdoria.
