Franco Colomba feels that Parma made “a huge step forward” after their important victory over Palermo.
The Ducali have recently beaten Inter, Udinese and Palermo to go six points clear of the relegation zone.
“We are closer to safety and admittedly the last three weeks have seen a huge step forward,” commented the Coach.
“Now we have a week to prepare for the challenge with Bologna.”
Colomba was drafted in mid-season after Pasquale Marino was sacked with Parma sliding down the table.
“When I arrived I thought it would not be easy to reach safety. It is thanks to the lads who wanted emerge and make their mark.
“I also compliment Marino for the work done throughout the campaign, then at the end I gave my contribution.”
