Lecce's hopes of avoiding relegation received a huge boost after David Di Michele's three-match ban was annulled on appeal.
The veteran had been suspended after video evidence suggested he had struck Bostjan Cesar in an off-the-ball incident during the 1-0 defeat on Sunday.
Lecce lodged an appeal, arguing the footage did not conclusively prove there was any contact between the players.
“The Federal Court examined Lecce's appeal against the three-match ban and accepted it, so the suspension has been annulled,” read a statement.
It means Di Michele will be available for the remaining three games in the Serie A season, including this weekend's home game with Napoli.
The Salentini are currently third from bottom with 35 points.
