Mihajlovic: 'I'll leave when I'm fired'

Sinisa Mihajlovic prepares to face his former club Inter and insists he “will leave Fiorentina only if the Della Valle brothers decide to sack me.”

The Coach has been subjected to protests from fans after ending the season empty-handed and failing to qualify for Europe.

“One of the mistakes we made this season was too often settling during a match. We always did well against the big clubs and must maintain that level of performance tomorrow at San Siro,” said Mihajlovic.

“Recent games have shown we are in good shape, so we've got to run risks and play to win.”

The Serb worked for Inter both as player and assistant manager to Roberto Mancini, but there are big question marks over his future in Florence.

“Clearly being a Coach I would love to one day lead a big club like Inter, but at this moment that is not in my thoughts.

“I intend to stay in Florence for a long time and will leave Fiorentina only if the Della Valle brothers decide to sack me.”

Fiorentina squad: Babacar, Behrami, Boruc, Cerci, Comotto, D'Agostino, De Silvestri, Frey, Gamberini, Gilardino, Gulan, Kroldrup, Ljajic, Marchionni, Montolivo, Mutu, Natali, Neto, Pasqual, Santana, Vargas
