Fiorentina have stated that Riccardo Montolivo will have to decide his future after making him a contract offer.
The Viola offered the midfielder an extension to his current agreement, which expires in 2012, late last year.
However, the Italian international asked for time to consider his options and he still hasn't put pen to paper.
"We want to keep Montolivo," stated Fiorentina official Sandro Mencucci on Wednesday afternoon.
"The long contract offer that we have presented him confirms as much. We can't really do much more than that.
"We have been clear, but now he needs to make a decision."
Inter and Juventus have been paired with the former Atalanta youth team player in recent weeks.
