Despite strongly criticising the Cagliari side yesterday, President Massimo Cellino has confirmed that Roberto Donadoni will remain as Coach.
Cellino labelled the club's ending to the season as "pathetic" on Wednesday following a slump in results.
However, the fiery patron says he won't make a coaching change ahead of the 2011-12 campaign at the Stadio Sant'Elia.
"Donadoni will stay, that's 100 per cent certain," he stated. "He'll remain and so will I seeing as I did think about leaving myself a little while back."
Cagliari began the campaign with Pierpaolo Bisoli in charge, but he was replaced by the former Italy boss as they struggled near the foot of the table.
With 44 points on the board, Cagliari are sure of their top-flight status for the new campaign.
