Thiago Motta's agent has reacted quickly to whispers that city rivals Milan are keen on the Inter player.
Today's Tuttosport front page suggests that the new Italian champions are interested in the Brazilian-born Italian international.
However, contacted by TMW, the midfielder's representative says he's surprised by the association.
"I know absolutely nothing about Milan," Dario Canovi noted. "Inter haven't told us anything and I don't like to talk about speculation.
"All I can say is that Motta still has a year left on his Inter contract and it will therefore be for the club to tell us their intentions.
"Once they inform us of whether they intend to renew his contract or not, then we will consider our options."
The former Barcelona player joined Inter in the summer of 2009 from Genoa, along with Diego Milito, after just a year at Marassi.
