Udinese won't allow their squad to be savaged by the summer transfer window should they qualify for the Champions League.
The Udine outfit have numerous players who are admired by top European clubs, but patron Giampaolo Pozzo has no real interest in selling his prized-assets.
"Should we qualify for the Champions League then it is our desire to maintain the potential that we already have," he stated on Monday. "In fact, we want to add to it.
"We've had an experience in the Champions League before and we now understand that you need to improve the squad with important players.
"We'll do all that we can to take on this adventure."
Udinese are currently fourth and in the last Champions League spot, two points clear of Udinese with one game left.
The Bianconeri were expected to sell Alexis Sanchez in the summer, but that plan may now change if European Cup football arrives at the Stadio Friuli.
