Milan stopper Thiago Silva has played down the importance of his contribution to the club's Scudetto success.
The Brazilian has been one of the outfit's top performers this term, winning the praise of boss Massimiliano Allegri.
"I don't like to talk about my merits, but those of others," he told Sky Sport Italia. "The Scudetto that we have won this year is thanks to everyone, especially the attackers.
"I have really improved this season with Alessandro Nesta alongside me and I want to personally continue playing until I am 40.
"I thank everyone who says that I am the best. But, for me, Manchester United's Nemanja Vidic is the best."
Turning to the future of the side, Silva said he wanted the old guard whose contracts are expiring to remain and hoped Brazilian colleague Ganso would join from Santos.
"I spoke to Ganso two days ago," Silva added. "He's convinced that he wants to play in Europe and I hope Milan do sign him.
"I also hope none of the players already here leave. We are a formidable squad and I am honoured to be able to wear this shirt.
"The objective for next season will be the Champions League."
Milan will meet with Clarence Seedorf today to discuss his future as his deal will run out next month.
Mark Van Bommel, Massimo Ambrosini, Andrea Pirlo and Nesta are just a number of other Rossoneri in the same position.
