Roma have breathed a sigh of relief after tests showed that Daniele De Rossi's groin injury isn't as bad as first thought.
De Rossi, who suffered the injury on international duty, was a second half substitute for Italy in Klagenfurt, but had to come off himself in Italy's 1-1 draw.
"I have never felt such a strong pain," he said.
A statement on Roma's official website excluded tears to the tendons and the muscles in the groin area.
The 27-year-old will miss Saturday's clash with Udinese and probably Bayern Munich's visit to the Olimpico on Tuesday as well.
