Milan have announced that Filippo Inzaghi has extended his contract until June 30, 2012.
The veteran hitman was one of several players whose deals were set to expire next month.
He went in for a meeting at the Via Turati club headquarters this afternoon and it was very quickly confirmed that a new agreement had been reached.
“Milan announce that Filippo Inzaghi has extended his contract until June 30, 2012,” read a statement.
He follows Alessandro Nesta, Mark Van Bommel, Flavio Roma and Thiago Silva in penning new deals this week.
Others still waiting for news include Massimo Ambrosini, Clarence Seedorf and Andrea Pirlo.
