Mirko Vucinic has reassured Roma fans that “I never said I wanted to leave. I'm waiting to hear what their plans are, though.”
The striker is one of several players thought to be reconsidering his future after American owner Thomas Di Benedetto takes over the club.
“I never said I wanted to leave Roma,” he told the ANSA news agency.
“I haven't even talked to my agent with regards to my future, let alone made a decision.
“I want to wait for the new directors and hear what their plans are, then make my decision based on that.
“Recently there have been far too many insinuations about my future, but there is no truth to any of it.”
