Pizarro set for Roma exit?

David Pizarro is reportedly considering a move away from Roma at the end of the current campaign.

The 32-year-old, who has been with the Giallorossi since August 2006, is understood to be wanted by several European outfits.

Greek giants Olympiakos are claimed to have the playmaker at the top of their transfer wish-list and are set to make a bid.

Pizarro's future in the Italian capital is in doubt after a problematic campaign, although his issues did seem to revolve around previous boss Claudio Ranieri.

It's unclear what plans Roma have for next season as the club will soon be bought by American businessman Thomas Di Benedetto.

The latter has already hired Walter Sabatini as sporting director and he'll have a big say on the Chilean's future.

Pizarro moved to Italy in 1999 when he was signed by Udinese. He also spent the 2005-06 campaign at Inter.
