It's now official – Edinson Cavani has signed a new improved contract with Serie A giants Napoli.
The Uruguayan is now tied to the Stadio San Paolo outfit until 2016 and he's also netted the wage increase that he desired.
Cavani, a summer signing from Palermo, was previously on €1.8m a season. That has now been upped to €2m with a number of bonuses that could see that figure rise even more.
Seeing as the striker is now suspended for the last game of the season, he's been allowed to have an early holiday before the summer's Copa America kicks off.
