Cesena have confirmed that they have reached an agreement with highly-rated tactician Marco Giampaolo.
The latter has been in talks with the minnows all week and has this afternoon finalised terms with the Sea Horses.
The club have noted that Giampaolo, who succeeds Massimo Ficcadenti, will put pen to paper on his deal on Wednesday before being unveiled to the media.
Giampaolo will be flanked at the Stadio Manuzzi by assistants Fabio Miccarelli, Roberto Peressuti and Roberto Bocchino.
The 43-year-old was linked with the Bologna job before the Stadio Dall'Ara outfit opted to hire Pierpaolo Bisoli instead.
Giampaolo, whose deal is expected to be two years in length, has been out of the game since he left Catania by mutual consent back during the month of January.
The Coach will have goalkeeper Francesco Antonioli and midfielder Giuseppe Colucci at his disposal after they signed contract extensions today.
