Claudio Lotito has opened the door for Nando Muslera to leave Lazio, but “nobody has requested Stefano Mauri.”
Uruguayan goalkeeper Muslera has turned down a contract extension and is heavily linked with a move to Galatasaray.
“If Muslera wants to leave, then we'll see what happens,” declared Lazio President Lotito.
“I believe that if a player does not want to stay, then he is free to go. If he doesn't wish to remain, then I'll accept that and act accordingly.”
Another Biancocelesti star, midfielder Mauri, is thought to be of interest to Inter and Juventus.
“Nobody has requested Mauri, so I don't think he is linked with any club other than Lazio.”
