Genoa boss Davide Ballardini welcomes Juventus in the lunchtime kick-off and admits he can't make many decisions. “There's only one line-up.”
Injuries have decimated the Rossoblu, but still they have notched up two victories in as many games in charge.
“Unfortunately it won't take much imagination to figure out my starting XI. There's only one line-up, really,” said the Coach.
“There aren't many alternatives. We have to rely on the same players who earned two wins in the last couple of rounds.
“Luca Toni is crucial for us and we cannot do without him, considering the way he changes the whole style of the team.”
Genoa are missing Bosko Jankovic, Raffaele Palladino, Rodrigo Palacio, Chico and Giuseppe Sculli.
Although Gergely Rudolf and Houssine Kharja are in the squad, they are both major doubts to actually play.
Juventus are also struggling with a series of injuries, but Ballardini feels they are better prepared.
“Juve were built to be protagonists in this campaign. They made important signings and are a much more united outfit compared to last season.
“They have only lost two games all term, picking up results against Milan at San Siro and away to Manchester City.”
Genoa squad: Eduardo, Perin, Scarpi; Criscito, Dainelli, Kaladze, Moretti, Ranocchia, Tomovic; Kharja, Mesto, Modesto, Milanetto, Rafinha, Rossi, Veloso, Zuculini; Boakye, Destro, Rudolf, Toni
