Lazio President Claudio Lotito is delighted with his swoop for German international striker Miroslav Klose.
The capital club have now confirmed that the player has joined the outfit after his contract at Bayern Munich expired.
"He is a signing of international quality and we won't stop here," the Biancocelesti chief noted.
"I've heard from Edy Reja and the Coach is really enthusiastic about having Klose, especially as he was part of our plans for next season."
The striker, with 61 goals in 109 caps for Germany, has signed a two-year contract with the option for a third.
He will earn €2m a season but that could rise given that there are numerous bonus clauses included in his agreement.
Klose becomes the fourth German to play for Lazio after Thomas Doll, Karl-Heinz Riedle and Thomas Hitzlsperger.
