Lippi considers Algeria job

Former Italy Coach Marcello Lippi is thought to be in talks to take over the Algeria national side.

Lippi declared he was ready to get back to work this summer, either at club level of sticking with international football.

He has been on a Sabbatical since the end of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, which saw the Azzurri crash out in the first round.

TMW claims Lippi is in negotiations with the Algerian FA and has taken a few days to think about the proposal.

He won the World Cup with Italy in 2006, then took two years off before returning to the bench.
