Milan are one of numerous top clubs taking a keen interest in young Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen.

The 19-year-old is highly-rated in the European game and it is claimed that the Italian giants are monitoring him.

The international, who has appeared for his country from Under-17 level right up until full level, plays his club football with Ajax.

He joined the Dutch outfit in 2008, after three years with OB, for a fee believed to be around €1m.

The youngster, also linked with Chelsea, Manchester United and Barcelona, is contracted to Ajax until 2014.
