Villarreal and Italy ace Giuseppe Rossi is still waiting for Barcelona to make an official move for him.
The European champions have shown an interest in the striker, but Barca have yet to do anything about it.
"A week before the Champions League Final we were told that Rossi was one of three players who they were thinking about in order to strengthen the side," agent Federico Pastorello told Premium Calcio.
"But things haven't got moving yet and there are no concrete facts at this moment in time," he added.
"It would be important if there was some sort of signal from Barcelona at a club level to Villarreal. With an official approach I think the deal can be done."
Barcelona are considered to be in pole position for the American-born player, but they are not the only club keen.
"A lot of European sides are paying attention to Giuseppe and that includes some Italian ones," Pastorello added.
"His dream is to certainly wear the Barcelona shirt, as that represents a winning model."
It's understood that the former Manchester United and Parma player will cost around €30m.
