Brescia transfer consultant Gianluca Nani has rejected claims that Andrea Caracciolo is heading to Napoli.
The Italian has been suggested as a possible new signing for the Azzurri given their search for a hitman.
However, speaking with Radio CRC on Thursday, Nani insisted that the Stadio San Paolo wouldn't be Caracciolo's next destination.
"I think Caracciolo is an under-rated player when you consider that he has scored 60 goals in three seasons," Nani noted.
"He is a player who has matured and someone who can do everything – he can hold the ball up and link up well with his teammates. He is the complete player.
"However, I can exclude the possibility that he will be wearing the Napoli shirt next season.
"He's already worked with [Napoli boss Walter] Mazzarri at Sampdoria and he didn't play that often really.
"It also has to be said that Napoli haven't asked him for us and there are negotiations going on with a number of other clubs anyway."
