Rossi honoured by Inter link

Delio Rossi has unsurprisingly welcomed reports that he could replace Leonardo at Italian giants Inter.

With Leo heading for a new role at Paris SG, Rossi has been paired with the Nerazzurri hotseat should top target Marcelo Bielsa not arrive.

"You'll have to ask President Massimo Moratti whether I could be the new Inter boss," Rossi told Radio CRC.

"Inter haven't called me, but the fact that I am even being linked to an important club like them is something to be proud of. If they called then I obviously couldn't say no…"

The tactician is available for hire after he left Palermo at the end of the season by mutual consent with the Rosanero.

He was replaced on the Sicilian bench by Chievo Verona tactician Stefano Pioli.
