Serie B side Albinoleffe have announced that Daniele Fortunato is their Coach for 2011-12.

The 48-year-old tactician was already assistant manager to Emiliano Mondonico and promoted temporarily after surgery to remove a tumour in January.

Fortunato has now been given the main bench permanently, as Mondonico is taking time out to undergo further treatment.

It is only the third major management job of his career.

He had previously been on the Cuneo bench from 2004-07, Ivrea in 2007-08 and Pergocrema in 2008.
