Coaching Inter has always been the ambition for Sinisa Mihajlovic, says Catania's Pietro Lo Monaco.
The Fiorentina tactician is a contender to replace Leonardo with the Nerazzurri and Lo Monaco believes he'd be a great appointment.
"Mihajlovic is very determined," said the official who hired Mihajlovic at Catania back in December 2009.
"He's always stated that his dream was to one day take charge at Inter," continued Lo Monaco on Monday morning.
"If that does happen then the Nerazzurri would get a very motivated guy. He's great at handling players and I'm convinced he could do well."
Mihajlovic left the Sicilian club in May 2010 and was appointed by Fiorentina just a week later on a two-year deal.
