Luis Enrique will earn at least €6m over the next two seasons at Roma after details of his arrival were released by the club.
The Spaniard was hired as the outfit's Coach by new sporting director Walter Sabatini two weeks ago.
However, due to bureaucratic reasons, the capital giants were forced to delay his official appointment.
That confirmation has now arrived and along with it have come the financial details of the package.
The former Spanish international, who left Barcelona B last month, will earn €2.9m gross for 2011-12 and €3.1m before tax for 2012-13.
There are also a number of bonus clauses in his agreement that will be activated if the side reach certain objectives.
The Giallorossi have also confirmed the set-up of Enrique's coaching team at the Stadio Olimpico.
It will comprise assistants Ivan De La Pena and Moreno Gonzales Robert, mental Coach Antonio Llorente and fitness trainer Pol Cabanellas Rafael.
Enrique succeeds Vincenzo Montella on the Roma bench. The latter will still be in Serie A next season though after he was hired by Catania.
