Genoa midfielder Miguel Veloso has reportedly rejected a move to Turkish outfit Galatasaray.
The latter are understood to have made the Italian club and the player an offer, but the Portuguese ace has turned them down.
Veloso apparently wants to remain at the Stadio Ferraris to prove his worth after a difficult first season in Italy.
The 25-year-old joined the port club in a deal which saw Sporting Lisbon net €8m and the services of Alberto Zapater.
Last month, Veloso rejected talk of a move back to Portugal after he was linked with a return to his homeland.
"I would never play for Porto or Benfica," he said at the time. "I also have no intention of returning to Portugal at this stage of my life.
"Sporting are the team of my heart and I will go back to them at some stage to finish my playing career."
