Cagliari have bought Davide Astori from Milan, could exchange Marco Amelia with Federico Marchetti and lose many of their players.
The deadline for co-ownership deals is approaching fast and clubs are in intensive negotiations to agree a fee for the other 50 per cent of their contracts.
“We have bought Astori,” confirmed Cagliari President Massimo Cellino, referring to the long tug-of-war with Milan.
It's believed the Rossoneri will receive €4m for their half of the defender.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the two sides have also been organising another deal with an exchange of goalkeepers.
Amelia was recently bought out from Genoa, so Milan aim to send him to Cagliari in a swap with Marchetti, who has been frozen out for a year due to a contract dispute.
This evening the Sardinians officially announced they had not taken up their options on Robert Acquafresca, Simone Missiroli and Simon Laner, who were all on loan this term.
