Milan have categorically ruled out bids for Cesc Fabregas, Marek Hamsik and Riccardo Montolivo this summer.
All three players have been paired with the Italian champions, but Vice-President Adriano Galliani has cooled the links.
"Fabregas [of Arsenal] is not even a dream because we have never thought about him," he told Sky Sport Italia. "There is zero possibility of seeing him at Milan.
"We have never tried to sign Hamsik either. Just like Fabregas, there is zero possibility of seeing him at Milan.
"We won't disturb Napoli who are a great reality of Italian football. I've told Silvio Berlusconi that too."
So could Santos ace Ganso be their mysterious Mr X after he admitted that he'd love a San Siro switch?
"He'd like to join us in January and we'd like that too, but he's a non-EU player, so the rules have to be changed first. We hope that the non-EU restrictions are altered."
Presently Italian clubs can only sign one non-EU player per season if they already play outside of Italy.
"Our swoop will come in midfield because we are well fixed up in all the other areas of the side," added Galliani. "And it won't be Riccardo Montolivo of Fiorentina either."
The official concluded by again underlining that Brazil defender Thiago Silva would be staying with the outfit.
"The fans can stay calm. He's wanted by a lot of the important clubs, but he is definitely not leaving."
