After Barcelona raised their offer, it's reported Manchester City have also responded in the bidding war for Udinese's Alexis Sanchez.
The Chile international is currently in Argentina preparing for the Copa America while clubs in Europe battle it out for his signature.
It was reported on Saturday that Barça had stepped up their offer to €40m, but it's still some way short of Udinese's €50m asking price.
According to the Sunday Mail, Manchester City have responded with their own bid of €40m plus performance-related bonuses.
That's £38m cash for the 22-year-old, an improvement of £6m from City's last proposal that was rejected.
It still might not be enough, as Sanchez has made it clear he would prefer Barcelona and only a huge offer can prompt Udinese to push him the other way.
