Brescia have revealed that Lazio are in pole position to sign Panagiotis Kone. "There is already an agreement."
Speaking to Radio Mana Mana on Tuesday, Brescia President Gino Corioni says he's optimistic that the switch can be completed.
"He is a player who is of interest to a lot of clubs, but we already have an agreement with Lazio President Claudio Lotito," Corioni noted.
"A lot depended on the sale of Stephan Lichtsteiner from Lazio to Juventus, so now we are waiting for an answer from Lotito.
"We're hopeful that the decisive call will arrive."
Kone, who was born in Albania, is a Greek international wide midfielder who joined Brescia from Iraklis, just a year ago, for less than €1m.
He started his career at AEK Athens.
