Serie A side Roma have reportedly agreed a deal for Loic Nego of French club Nantes.

The 20-year-old right-back was also being targeted by Portuguese giants Benfica and Italian minnows Cesena.

Nego is available on a free transfer after the Paris-born player signed a three-year deal with Nantes in June 2008.

The player has appeared for all of France's youth sides from Under-16 to Under-20 level.
