Serie B side Torino are a strong contender to sign Stefano Guberti from Italian giants Roma.
Guberti, 27, returned to the Stadio Olimpico outfit at the weekend after 18 months with now relegated Sampdoria.
He's not expected to remain in the capital and his agent has confirmed that Torino are very keen on his services.
"I can say that Torino's interest is very real," Claudio De Nicola told torinogranata.it. "He knows how Gianpiero Ventura's sides play.
"But they are not the only club interested which is understandable after what Stefano has done in these years.
"For now Stefano is just concentrated on the meeting that we will soon have with Roma and on the fact that he's just recently become a father."
