Mattia Cassani is patiently waiting for news about his proposed move from Palermo to Lazio.
The capital club need a new right-back given that Stephan Lichtsteiner will join Juventus this summer.
The Eternal City outfit are in talks with Genoa's Abdoulay Konko, but the Italian international is also on their radar.
"Every day could be the day when a deal is done," the former Juventus player told Radio Mana Mana on Thursday.
"All of the parties are working hard. My agent is having contact with President Claudio Lotito on a daily basis.
"Once a deal has been agreed between the two clubs then I'll be contacted by them. Until then I just have to wait.
"I've told my agent to phone me when my presence is needed to define everything."
Lazio and Palermo discussed terms yesterday, where it is understood that Lotito also asked about the availability of Cesare Bovo.
