Bastos bids are too low

Lyon have told clubs interested in Michel Bastos to increase their financial offers or he'll remain with the French side.

"At the moment we have received no bid that would permit him to leave," President Jean-Michel Aulas noted.

"If the situation remains as it is then I really do believe that Bastos will still be here with us on August 31."

Juventus are known to be keen on the Brazilian international, although their interest evolved before the arrival of Antonio Conte as Coach.

It's unclear at the moment whether Conte believes that the South American can fit in with his system of football.

Juventus director general Beppe Marotta also seemed to suggest today that he couldn't start buying players until he started to reduce the size of the current squad.
