Lippi targets autumn return

World Cup winning boss Marcello Lippi says he'll soon be back in football. "I'm not spending another winter without a job."

The tactician hasn't worked since the Azzurri's disastrous defence of their world crown at South Africa 2010.

"I'll be back on a bench in autumn," the former Atalanta, Napoli, Juventus and Inter tactician told Noi TV.

"I'm not spending another winter without a job and I won't be working in Italy," continued the cigar smoker.

"I want to have an experience abroad, either with a club side or with an international team.

"I wanted to take a break after the 2010 World Cup, but now I have the desire to return to the field of play."

It's unclear where Lippi could end up after recent links with the Ukraine national side evaporated.
