Italy boss Cesare Prandelli has backed Rafa Benitez to turn things around at Inter amid calls for his dismissal.
Tonight's Champions League clash against FC Twente is said to be crucial in deciding Benitez's fate following a run of five games without a win, which has left Inter sixth in Serie A.
"I hope that Benitez isn't playing for his place in this evening's match," Prandelli said.
"He is a great tactician and a person of common sense too.
"Inter are paying the price for too many injuries and it's also a group that has won a lot, which could be subconsciously satisfied with last year's victories.
"For me, Benitez is the right man. He can give Inter motivation again."
