The agent of Milan's Marco Amelia has categorically ruled out a summer move for his goalkeeping client.
The 2006 World Cup winner has been paired with a San Siro exit despite being signed outright from Genoa just last month.
"Amelia will certainly remain at Milan," representative Carlo Pallavicino noted. "The rumours about him are unfounded. I'm 100 per cent sure that he'll stick with the Rossoneri."
The goalkeeper has already rejected a transfer to Cagliari this summer – in a deal that could have seen Federico Marchetti join Milan.
"I know Cagliari boss Roberto Donadoni very well," the custodian revealed last month.
"He asked me if I wanted to go and play for him, but, after thanking him for the opportunity, I told him that I didn't want to leave Milan."
Amelia added that there was only one club who could tempt him away from Milanello – hometown side Roma. "I'd leave only for the Giallorossi," he stated.
The 28-year-old, who will again probably be a reserve to Christian Abbiati next term, started his career in the Giallorossi youth sector, but he never made a Serie A appearance for the club.
He left Roma in 2001 to join Livorno and has since also played for Lecce, Parma, Palermo and Genoa.
Marchetti will today complete his move to Lazio.
