Catania will hold talks with Juventus with regards to the futures of Matias Silvestre and Jorge Martinez.
The Argentine centre-back is of interest to the Old Lady, while Martinez doesn't seem to figure in the plans of new Juve boss Antonio Conte.
"I'll see and talk to [Juventus general director Beppe] Marotta on Friday," Catania chief Pietro Lo Monaco told Tuttosport.
"As far as I am concerned, Matias is one of the strongest centre-backs in the Italian championship. There is no doubt about that.
"He proved as much last season in a campaign where he also scored six goals. What more do you want from a defender?"
Lazio are understood to have made a €4m offer for Silvestre, but Catania value him at a higher price. "He's worth €8m."
Turning to Martinez, who Juve paid Catania €12m for last summer, Lo Monaco seemed open to re-embracing the Uruguayan attacker.
"I'll tell Marotta that if he doesn't find a buyer and he wants to recycle Martinez then I'll step forward," the Rossoblu official added.
"I say recycle in a good way. I maintain that Jorge is a great player and he can regenerate in the right environment.
"However, I can't offer him the kind of wages that he earns at Juventus. I would need a little help [from Juve]…"
Martinez had an injury-hit campaign in Turin last season.
