The representative of Liverpool's Alberto Aquilani has dismissed suggestions of a move to Fiorentina.
Aquilani is keen to stay in Italy after Juventus opted against buying him outright following his loan spell last season.
Fiorentina have been associated with a bid, but Franco Zavaglia is surprised by the reports of Viola interest.
"There is no negotiation going on with Fiorentina," Zavaglia told TMW on Monday. "They've not even asked me about him.
"These stories are just rumours. Aquilani's future at this moment in time is Liverpool and he will be staying with them."
The Italian international midfielder's €3.3m a season salary also seem to be out of Fiorentina's economical parameters.
