Napoli have now closed the door to Arturo Vidal after the club completed the capture of Gokhan Inler.
The Chile and Bayer Leverkusen player has been monitored by the Azzurri, but he's no longer wanted at the Stadio San Paolo.
"I think it would be too much with Inler and Vidal," President Aurelio De Laurentiis noted to Radio Marte.
"Our midfield is already well stocked. We are already very strong with Blerim Dzemaili, Marco Donadel and Walter Gargano."
Inler has today arrived from Udinese, while Dzemaili was netted from Parma and Donadel was available on a free after his Fiorentina contract expired.
Vidal is considering his future given that he has just a year left to run on his contract with the Bundesliga club.
Bayern Munich, Roma and Juventus are showing an interest.
"I will decide after the Copa America," said the 24-year-old over the weekend. "I have to think about my future and Juve's offer represents an excellent opportunity."
