It's reported Genoa have signed Dutchman Evander Sno, who was a free agent after his contract with Ajax expired.
The midfielder has played for NAC Breda, Celtic, Bristol City and Ajax during his career.
It was believed the 24-year-old was ready to retire when he suffered a heart attack during a game with the Ajax reserve side in September 2010.
However, Sno recovered quickly and made his comeback in a friendly just two months later, having been given an internal cardiac defibrillator as a precautionary measure.
There are reports in Italy this evening that Genoa have signed Sno on a three-year contract with the option for a fourth term.
